West Street Live opened in Autumn 2005 as an exciting new venture from ABD Enterprises. After an understated start the venue then blossomed from July 2006 upon the arrival of superbad family team Jav, Aisha, Tam (sound engineer) and Taz Ali with their "Mentholman" promotions tag. That autumn the Ali family were subsequently followed through the doors by the devilishly handsome flame haired adonis Jared C. O'Mara and his promotions outfit "Know Your Onion" in a £46.8 million transfer from the Howard pub near the train station. The venue is once again, in the words of M.People, "Moving on Up" under the sexy stewardship of Kevin "lock up your daughters" Clabby In an interview about the venue's myspace Jared was reported to have said "I'm not particularly good at being funny, but I was bored. Sorry.".
