Kanvas - Azura - Hooker Bentley - Catch it Kebabs

BOM Night @The Arches - Barnsley

"Kanvas (Dearne Valley) kicked off the night with an energetic performance from the frontman. The band played well with drummer Hancock holding the engine well.

Azura (Barnsley) Who have recently recruited old Palms drummer Deano impressed me with a strong set of Verve/Dovesesque songs with Scot Zoldens vocals holding up against any of the afore mentioned.

Hooker Bentley (Sheffield) had the prime spot of 10pm and played a tight set of dirty rock. Bass player from these lads seemed to work all through the set and keep these lads rockin.

Catch it Kebabs (Barnsley) started their U.K. tour at the BOM night and the eight of them lifted the crowd with their Ska/Reggae/Rock/Punk. The horn section really does come across effective and powerful and always gets the audience shuffling oon the floor. A shame they cant play this years BOMfest.
