BOMFEST WILL BE IN SILKSTONE THIS YEAR AT THE SCOUT CAMP BEHIND SILVERWOOD.

Senser were a massive underground festival outfit in the early 90s and went through band difficulties resulting in a temporary split. The band never quite regained the momentum they had previously built up pre split but that has never taken anything away from the quality of the band and especially the lyrical content of their tracks. Go check out the reading festival gig in 94 of the band rippin it up.

Nik "thunder rider" Turner was at the forefront of the Hawkwind explosion with his crazy stage costumes and psychedelic sax playing but after fall outs with Dave Broch (lead singer and founder) they parted company, and remember Lemmy from Motorhead also came from this quality stable. Nik has been in several bands since those early days, such acts like Inner city unit and laterly Galactikos and now goes out as simply "The Nik Turner Band" and that is what guise he will be in for his big welcome to Barnsley.
