All Bets Are Off started in March 2006. Before this, Andy and Will tried forming a band together, however, added members didn't tend to take on the challenge or were really crap and the band had an up-coming gig at the citrus rooms they pormised to perform...without a drummer. Their teacher, Danny, was offered to play as their drummer as a musical mercenary for the gig. He took on the gig as a one off but enjoyed the music so much he joined full time. Another gig at the Citrus was played after this. After playing two gigs with a rather short 4-5 song set, they ventured into the practice rooms to get more material layed down. Before accepting another gig offer, they decided to have a slight change. Danny has been a guitarist for over 6 years and wanted to be back upfront on the stage again. They needed a new drummer. Close friend of the band's, Rob Turner was offered the place and dove in. More material was constructed and the first gig as the present All Bets Are Off took place at the Arches. Many more songs and several gigs later, the band recorded two demos: Home-made and The Helping Hand. Since recording, they have played some very popular gigs and even been molested on stage.
