Gaia are the real deal. Top live band whos passion and sincerity are hard to be matched. Dave hancock was the founding member and the only remaining original member. John Rose (Guitar), and Iain West soon took command of their positions in the band and with the departure of longstanding drummer Steven Booth (now Minas), The hearty and solid Stephen Gilberthorpe has now taken the slot of the Gaia engine.
The lads played their first gig in Rotherham with Gilby and he has slotted into the line up with ease.
Gaia are releasing their long awaited second album this year (2008) namely "Sun into gold" . Their first album "Soulwind" is available at gigs and from their site at www.myspace.com/gaiauk
